Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 cup heart-shaped sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Add buttermilk until the dough is soft.
  7. Fold in the heart-shaped sprinkles.
  8. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  10. Let cool on wire racks.
