Description

A decadent chocolate cake layered with rich caramel, crunchy pecans, and chocolate chips, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, 1 cup of water, ½ cup of vegetable oil, and 3 eggs in a large mixing bowl. Blend until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and tap gently to release air bubbles.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool the cakes in their pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  6. Assemble the cake by placing one layer on a serving plate. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce and sprinkle half of the pecans and chocolate chips.
  7. Place the second layer on top and repeat with the remaining caramel, pecans, and chocolate chips.
  8. Finish with more caramel sauce, pecans, and chocolate chips on top, and garnish with whipped cream.
  9. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
