A delicious sandwich featuring turkey, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions, perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 4 oz sliced turkey
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- In another skillet, melt the remaining butter and place one slice of bread in it.
- Layer the turkey, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese on the bread.
- Top with the second slice of bread and grill until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a slice of tomato or some spinach.
- Use whole grain or sourdough bread for a different taste.
- Can be made in a panini press for a crispy finish.
