- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños.
- Feel free to add other ingredients like sausage or different types of cheese.
- These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
