Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  5. Roll out the dough into a large circle on a floured surface.
  6. Place string cheese around the edge of the dough and fold it over to create a stuffed crust.
  7. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving the crust edge clear.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and top with pepperoni slices.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
