A delightful twist on the classic Tiramisu featuring layers of luscious mascarpone, fresh strawberries, and rich coffee-soaked ladyfingers.

- 1 pound strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 package ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the mascarpone cheese until no lumps remain.
- Dip each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee briefly to soak.
- Arrange a single layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a glass dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Layer half of the sliced strawberries on top.
- Repeat with remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mix, and strawberries.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or preferably overnight.
- Dust with cocoa powder or sprinkle chocolate shavings before serving.
Notes
This dessert is best when made the day before serving to allow flavors to meld. Avoid over-soaking ladyfingers for the best texture.
