Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vegetable oil.
- Mix it up: Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just smooth.
- Add the goodies: Fold in the cheese, jalapeños, and chili beans.
- Bake to perfection: Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
