Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Combine the dry mixture with the wet ingredients until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
