Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Pour in warm water and olive oil, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead gently for about 5 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a round bagel.
  5. Boil water in a large pot and drop each bagel in, boiling for 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl and roll each boiled bagel in the mixture.
  7. Transfer coated bagels to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
