- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
- Once the chicken is cooked, shred it in the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve the chicken Alfredo over the cooked fettuccine.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry towards the end of cooking.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or broccoli for added nutrition.
