Description

A deliciously smoky and savory meatball infused with bourbon BBQ sauce and topped with crispy bacon, perfect for burger lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup bourbon BBQ sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, bourbon BBQ sauce, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. During the last 5 minutes of baking, top each meatball with a slice of cheddar cheese and return to the oven until melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with chopped bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the meat mixture in the refrigerator for an hour before baking.
  • Serve with additional bourbon BBQ sauce on the side.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
