A deliciously smoky and savory meatball infused with bourbon BBQ sauce and topped with crispy bacon, perfect for burger lovers.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup bourbon BBQ sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
- 6 slices of cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, bourbon BBQ sauce, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- During the last 5 minutes of baking, top each meatball with a slice of cheddar cheese and return to the oven until melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with chopped bacon before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the meat mixture in the refrigerator for an hour before baking.
- Serve with additional bourbon BBQ sauce on the side.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.
