Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped rhubarb and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the rhubarb is tender.
  3. Stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.
  4. Add the strawberry Jello and mix until fully dissolved.
  5. If using, mix in the sliced strawberries.
  6. Allow the sauce to cool at room temperature before refrigerating.
