Ingredients

- 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the chopped rhubarb and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the rhubarb is tender.
- Stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.
- Add the strawberry Jello and mix until fully dissolved.
- If using, mix in the sliced strawberries.
- Allow the sauce to cool at room temperature before refrigerating.
