Description
A delightful dessert combining creamy mascarpone with fresh raspberries and rich espresso for a joyful and indulgent experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of espresso or strong coffee
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Ladyfinger cookies
- Fresh raspberries
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Brew the espresso or strong coffee. Combine it with sugar in a bowl, stirring until dissolved. Allow this mixture to cool completely.
- Prepare the mascarpone mixture by combining the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to whisk until soft peaks form.
- Dip each ladyfinger quickly in the cooled espresso mixture, ensuring not to soak them.
- Layer a layer of dipped ladyfingers in your baking dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them, topping it with half the raspberries.
- Repeat the process with another layer of ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture and raspberries.
- Chill the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight.
- Serve by dusting with cocoa powder and garnishing with fresh raspberries just before serving.
Notes
Tiramisu cakes develop richer flavors when made a day in advance. Be careful not to soak ladyfingers for too long.
