Description

Pulled Pork Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make dish perfect for BBQ gatherings, featuring tender pulled pork served on soft slider buns.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the pork shoulder with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the sliced onion in the bottom of a roasting pan and place the pork on top.
  4. Pour the chicken broth and BBQ sauce over the pork.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 4-5 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  6. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before shredding it with two forks.
  7. Mix the shredded pork with the remaining BBQ sauce.
  8. Serve the pulled pork on slider buns and top with coleslaw if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the pork overnight with the spices.
  • Feel free to use a slow cooker instead of the oven for a more hands-off approach.
