Description

Delicious skewers combining smoky sausages and caramelized pineapple, coated in a brown sugar glaze for a sweet and savory treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of cocktail sausages (smokies)
  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • Skewers (bamboo or metal)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine brown sugar and soy sauce in a mixing bowl, whisk until smooth.
  3. Thread a cocktail sausage and a pineapple chunk onto each skewer, alternating as you go.
  4. Coat the skewers generously with the brown sugar and soy sauce mixture using a basting brush.
  5. Cook the skewers on the grill or in the oven for 10-15 minutes, watching closely for caramelization.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy every bite!

Notes

You can prepare the skewers the night before and store them in the fridge. Air fryers can also be used at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes.
