Description
A comforting dish of bowtie pasta enveloped in a creamy garlic butter sauce with tender chicken and melted mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Bowtie Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the bowtie pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, letting its heavenly aroma fill the air.
- Cook the Chicken: Add the diced chicken to the skillet, allowing it to sear and cook until golden brown and no longer pink in the center, about 6–8 minutes.
- Sauté the Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the Cream: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine it with the buttery garlic, creating a luscious sauce.
- Combine Pasta and Cheese: Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet along with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Gently mix until the pasta is well coated and the cheese has melted into a gooey, creamy goodness.
- Season to Taste: Sprinkle with salt and pepper, adjusting as necessary to suit your palate.
- Serve and Garnish: Ladle the pasta into bowls and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
