Ingredients

- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 cup of crispy fried onions
- 2 slices of bread
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer the cheddar cheese, bacon, and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Add a generous amount of crispy fried onions on top.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill the sandwich in the skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding a slice of tomato or avocado.
- Adjust the amount of maple syrup to taste.
