- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into fries.
- In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with sour cream and hot sauce, and top with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more cayenne pepper or your favorite hot sauce.
