Description

A refreshing and fruity twist on the classic margarita, combining the flavors of kiwi and strawberry for a vibrant cocktail experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the chopped kiwis and sliced strawberries. Blend until smooth.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the kiwi-strawberry puree, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup (if using).
  3. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake well until chilled.
  4. If desired, rim the glasses with salt or sugar by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into the salt or sugar.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice.
  6. Garnish with a slice of kiwi or strawberry, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and triple sec and replace with sparkling water.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less agave syrup based on your taste preference.
  • This cocktail can be made in larger batches for parties.
