Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package King’s Hawaiian bread rolls
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the egg to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. Make a cut on the top of each King’s Hawaiian roll to create a pocket.
  5. Fill each pocket with the cheesecake mixture.
  6. Arrange the filled rolls in a baking dish.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and filling is set.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, substitute cream cheese with mascarpone or use plain Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
