- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple (with juice), cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil.
- If using, fold in the shredded coconut.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can top the cake with whipped cream or frosting.
- This cake can be served warm or chilled.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
