- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until rich and deep brown.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened and fragrant.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture into your crockpot, spreading it out evenly.
- Add the chopped bell pepper, elbow macaroni, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
- Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, then season generously with salt and pepper.
- Stir everything until well combined.
- Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve the goulash warm and enjoy!
Notes
For make-ahead, prepare the ingredients the night before. Can also be cooked in an Instant Pot or oven.
