- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1 cup onions, diced
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced ribeye steak, bell peppers, and onions. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the steak is browned and the vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded provolone cheese until melted.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and place a spoonful of the cheesesteak mixture in the center.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly to seal.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the egg rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
- These egg rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
- For a healthier option, bake the egg rolls in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.
