Description

Delicious crispy crab rangoon bites filled with creamy crab and cheese, perfect for parties or a delightful snack.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 package of wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Dipping sauces of choice

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, shredded crab meat, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until thoroughly combined.
  2. Fill the Wonton Wrappers: Place about a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Seal the Wrappers: Moisten the edges of each wrapper with a touch of water and fold to seal tightly.
  4. Heat the Oil: Pour approximately two inches of oil into a deep pan and heat over medium.
  5. Fry the Wontons: Carefully lower several wontons into the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drain Excess Oil: Remove the wontons with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve Hot: Bring your crispy crab rangoon bites out while still piping hot, accompanied by your chosen dipping sauces.

Notes

For a lighter version, use an air fryer. Avoid overfilling the wrappers to prevent ruptures.
