- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Wrap each mozzarella stick with a slice of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
- Dredge the bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks in flour, then dip them in the beaten eggs, and finally coat them with breadcrumbs.
- Carefully place the coated sticks in the hot oil and fry until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can season the flour or breadcrumbs with garlic powder or Italian herbs.
