- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, ground beef, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce and stir in heavy cream until well blended.
- Once meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with pasta or bread.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can use ground turkey instead of beef.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices for extra flavor.
- These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
