- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup crushed cookies and cream cookies
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup icing sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix the softened butter, milk, and egg in another bowl.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Add the crushed cookies generously over the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together the icing sugar and milk for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
