- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (optional)
- 1 cup onions, chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté the vegetables in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken and season generously with salt and pepper; mix thoroughly.
- Prepare the Hawaiian rolls by cutting them in half horizontally, and lay the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
- Assemble the sliders by spooning the chicken mixture onto the bottom halves and layering slices of provolone cheese on top.
- Top with the top halves of the rolls, forming mini sandwiches.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts and the rolls turn golden brown.
