Delicious Cherry Rice Krispie Treats that blend crunchy and gooey textures, topped with a chocolate drizzle and juicy cherries.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup cherries (chopped or cherry flavoring)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (for melting)
- Additional cherries for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring gently.
- Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in the chopped cherries.
- Pour in the Rice Krispies and stir until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispie mixture.
- Allow to cool for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
- Top with additional cherries before serving if desired.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze individual squares wrapped tightly.
