- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups frozen French fries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender.
- Drain excess fat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the French fries on the bottom.
- Spread the beef mixture over the fries, then top with the remaining French fries.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
