  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups frozen French fries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the French fries on the bottom.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the fries, then top with the remaining French fries.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
