Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the diced apples with cinnamon and half of the caramel sauce.
  3. Place a tortilla on a flat surface and spoon some of the apple mixture onto the center.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  5. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  6. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and lightly brown the tortilla pockets on all sides.
  7. Transfer the tortilla pockets to a baking dish and drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve warm, optionally topped with chopped nuts.
