- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the diced apples with cinnamon and half of the caramel sauce.
- Place a tortilla on a flat surface and spoon some of the apple mixture onto the center.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and lightly brown the tortilla pockets on all sides.
- Transfer the tortilla pockets to a baking dish and drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with chopped nuts.
Notes
- For a healthier option, use whole wheat tortillas.
- Feel free to add raisins or other dried fruits to the apple mixture.
