Instructions

- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Spread half of the cookie dough evenly into the greased baking pan.
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour it over the cookie dough layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the brownie mix.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
