  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Whisk together the heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently a few times until it comes together.
  7. Pat the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick.
