- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook over medium heat until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions between two slices of bread, buttered side out.
- Grill the sandwich in the skillet over medium heat until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice and serve warm.

- For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon and add more vegetables.
