- 1 lb Beef Italian Sausage
- 1 Small Yellow Onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/4 cup Cooked Turkey Bacon Pieces
- 4 Large Russet Potatoes, sliced thin
- 4 cups Water
- 2 Chicken Bouillon Cubes
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in a large pot over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Sauté onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant.
- Introduce the crispy turkey bacon pieces and cook for a minute.
- Combine the sliced potatoes, water, and chicken bouillon cubes in the pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes, and serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze in portions. Reheat with a splash of water or broth.
