Delicious grilled shrimp skewers inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for a summer barbecue or a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- Serve with a side of lemon wedges for extra flavor.
