Description

Delicious grilled shrimp skewers inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for a summer barbecue or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  5. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
  • Serve with a side of lemon wedges for extra flavor.
