Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • Tortilla chips or tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In your skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through and drain any excess fat.
  3. Sauté Onions and Garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until onions are translucent.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Stir in the black beans, corn, taco seasoning, and salsa; cook for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Layer It Up: In a greased baking dish, spread an even layer of tortilla chips or tortillas, top with beef mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
