- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup corn
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- Tortilla chips or tortillas
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Ground Beef: In your skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through and drain any excess fat.
- Sauté Onions and Garlic: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until onions are translucent.
- Combine Ingredients: Stir in the black beans, corn, taco seasoning, and salsa; cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Layer It Up: In a greased baking dish, spread an even layer of tortilla chips or tortillas, top with beef mixture, and sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake to Perfection: Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
