Instructions

  1. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they are golden brown.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place one slice of bread in the skillet and top with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese.
  5. Cover with the second slice of bread.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted.
