- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 4 large tortillas
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create the glaze.
- Marinate the chicken breasts in the glaze for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave.
- Assemble the wraps by placing sliced chicken, lettuce, carrots, and green onions on each tortilla.
- Roll the tortillas tightly and slice in half to serve.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sesame seeds on top of the chicken before serving.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or cucumbers for added crunch.
