A delicious and easy-to-make Sweet Hoisin Beef Wrap that combines tender beef with a sweet and savory hoisin sauce, wrapped in fresh lettuce for a delightful meal.

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- To assemble, place a few pieces of beef in a lettuce leaf, top with shredded carrots, bell peppers, and green onions.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños to the wrap.
- Can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
- Serve with extra hoisin sauce on the side for dipping.
