- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and then cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the tofu cubes.
- Cook the tofu until golden brown on all sides, about 10-15 minutes.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the tofu and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tofu is well coated.
- In serving bowls, layer the cooked rice, mixed vegetables, and top with the glazed tofu.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Feel free to substitute the vegetables with your favorites.
- This dish can be made vegan by ensuring the sweet chili sauce is plant-based.
