- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Easter sprinkles (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cream cheese mixture by beating the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Layer the sliced strawberries evenly on the bottom of your greased baking dish.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries, smoothing it out evenly.
- Prepare the cake mix by combining the yellow cake mix, melted butter, water, and vanilla extract, stirring until well mixed.
- Combine the cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer, spreading it gently.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool slightly and decorate with colorful Easter sprinkles.
Notes
Serve warm or cool with a dollop of whipped cream. This cake can also be made in an air fryer.
