Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Easter sprinkles (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cream cheese mixture by beating the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Layer the sliced strawberries evenly on the bottom of your greased baking dish.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries, smoothing it out evenly.
  5. Prepare the cake mix by combining the yellow cake mix, melted butter, water, and vanilla extract, stirring until well mixed.
  6. Combine the cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer, spreading it gently.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool slightly and decorate with colorful Easter sprinkles.

Notes

Serve warm or cool with a dollop of whipped cream. This cake can also be made in an air fryer.
