Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 can of strawberry pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
  5. In another bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until just mixed.
  6. Pour the cake batter over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool before serving.
