Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken to the hot skillet, cooking each side until golden brown and caramelized, about 6-8 minutes.
- Prepare the coconut rice: Combine rice, coconut milk, water, and minced garlic in a pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Fluff the rice once tender.

Notes
