Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken & Rice is a delicious and easy meal that combines tender chicken with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, served over fluffy rice.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, and ginger.
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture over them.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the chicken broth, rice, and water to the slow cooker.
- Stir to combine and cover again, cooking until the rice is tender.
- Once done, shred the chicken and mix it back into the rice.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
