  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the beef stew meat, onion, garlic, mushrooms, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Stir to combine all ingredients well.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to thicken the sauce.
  5. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice.
