- 3–4 lbs beef brisket
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 sandwich buns
- Coleslaw (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the brisket on top of the onions and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Pour the BBQ sauce over the brisket, ensuring it is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
- Once cooked, shred the brisket with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker.
- Serve the shredded brisket on sandwich buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the brisket overnight with the spices.
- Adjust the BBQ sauce according to your taste preference.
- Leftover brisket can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
