Description

Delicious and tender slow-cooked BBQ brisket served on soft sandwich buns, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 34 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 sandwich buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the brisket on top of the onions and garlic in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the BBQ sauce over the brisket, ensuring it is well coated.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender.
  6. Once cooked, shred the brisket with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker.
  7. Serve the shredded brisket on sandwich buns, topped with coleslaw if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the brisket overnight with the spices.
  • Adjust the BBQ sauce according to your taste preference.
  • Leftover brisket can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
