Ingredients

  • 1 ball of pizza dough (about 12-inch)
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the top off the head of garlic and drizzle it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Wrap it in foil and roast for about 20 minutes.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it stretches to about 12 inches in diameter.
  4. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a bowl and mash them into a paste. Combine with ricotta cheese, remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread the garlic white sauce evenly over the prepared pizza dough.
  6. Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan, and sprinkle dried oregano on top.
  7. Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil before slicing.
