- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
- Chocolate syrup for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the box, then bake in a 9×13 inch pan.
- Once baked, let the cake cool for about 10 minutes.
- Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
- In a bowl, mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth, then spread it over the cake.
- Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions and pour it over the cake, filling the holes.
- Spread whipped topping over the pudding layer.
- Top with chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cake mix.
- Make sure to refrigerate the cake for the best texture.
