Delicious pumpkin spice danishes filled with pecans, perfect for fall.
Ingredients

- 1 package of puff pastry
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and pumpkin spice.
- Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of the pumpkin mixture.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal.
- Brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Can substitute walnuts for pecans if desired.
- Best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
